Celebrities like to devote as much of their free time to some fitness activities that will keep them in shape. When it comes to fitness and exercising, there is nothing better than a cardio workout than running.

Running is great just because it activates every muscle in your body and acts as a stress relief, which is very much needed for anyone. It doesn’t matter if you are one of the highest-paid NFL players in the history of the league or a college graduate, you can both find purpose in running.

Running is also great for losing weight and keeping your body in shape, which is especially important for celebrities who participate in movies and TV series.

Let’s find out more about which celebrities expressed their love for running.

Megan Markle

There is no surprise that Megan Markle likes running since she looks stunning and in shape. Even years before coming to the Royal Family she told the Shape about her love of running. She explained that running is much more than just fitness for her.

It enables her to find a workout routine that works with her busy schedule, meet the goals for her body, and keep her head clear. She added that the mental piece for her is just as important as keeping in shape, and running is perfect for both.

Bear Grylls

Bear Grylls is known for going to remote places and surviving with limited resources. With TV shows like Survival and Man vs Wild, he needs to be physically prepared at all times. His love for running comes from his military days and he still keeps the same routine of running at least three times a week for about 40 minutes.

Jennifer Aniston

Being 52 years old and looking like Jennifer Aniston is the main goal for most women. The Friend’s star follows a strict workout routine in order to look like that.

She loves to mix up her workouts to stay in shape, and one of her favorite cardio workouts is running. Running is great just because it doesn’t take away from their busy schedule and it is the ultimate calorie burner.

Jennifer Lawrence

In the past couple of years, we’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence in many films where she had to be physically prepared. Her training for Hunger Games incorporated a lot of running and she admitted that she was worried that people will critique her running style.

She had a point though. Her running style is a bit weird since she keeps her hands open like razors instead of keeping them closed. It seems like this running style makes her more aerodynamic.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook founder and often being pointed out to be a human Android due to his unique style of speaking and face gestures, likes running too. He is in the spotlight now due to the merge to their new name Meta.

Obviously, he is under a lot of pressure of recreating a virtual world and running is the best way to get his mind of things and keep in shape.

His love for running comes from years ago. Back in 2016, the Facebook founder did a “year of running challenge” where he attempted to run for 365 miles in a year. He even encouraged other Facebook members to get moving and join him in his challenge.

He finished the challenge five months early, which results in running for at least 1.7 miles per day.

Running is a great form of physical activity with many benefits. It helps us build strong bones and it is the most weight-bearing exercise which is why most celebrities like to run in order to keep their body in shape.
