The Inside Running Podcast live interview with Collis Birmingham, presented by the Nike Pegasus 35.

Presented by Nike, Inside Running Podcast and The Running Company Ballarat this Inside Running live event will examine the life of an extraordinary individual athlete in our sport who is making a positive impact in our running community.

This conversation series builds on Inside Running Podcast’s movement to promote distance running with the power of podcasts to their large local and international listening community.

“We’re stoked to partner with Collis for our next live event in Ballarat”, Brady Threlfall from the Inside Running Podcast said.

“Collis is a modest athlete, there’s not a lot of in-depth media on his life and a massive amount of achievements and we’re proud to have the opportunity to present this event and release the audio in an upcoming episode”, he said.

The event will include a 90-minute live conversation where they’ll explore some of the big issues, events, challenges and opportunities of our sport in detail– with the aim to leave the audience motivated, enthused and inspired.

“Ballarat is the mecca of distance running in Australia and Collis is a proud Ballarat boy, it’s a great opportunity for people who love running to get down on a Sunday afternoon, enjoy a beer with like-minded people and hear some great stories from one of the best distance runners Australia has ever produced“, said Julian Spence who co-hosts the podcast with Threlfall and owns The Running Company Ballarat.

“Having the afternoon linked with the Nike Pegasus 35 launch is also exciting, it’s a great shoe and we’ll be giving away a few free pairs on the day with some other Nike giveaways. We love the support we get from our listeners and want to provide them with a great experience at this event”, Spence concludes.

Collis Birmingham is a 2 x Olympian, 10 x WC representative, a 2 x Commonwealth Games representative & Australian Champion. He has PBs of 3.35, 7.35, 13.09, 27.29, 61.25 and finished 8th at the World Cross Country Championships in 2013.
