At last weekend’s Australian Champs men’s 1500m final Olli Hoare dropped a final 800m of ~1:48.80.  The Tokyo Olympic finalist showed his class as one of the world’s premier metric milers,  dropping a last 800 split that is pure quality.

His second last lap was ~54.7 seconds, his final lap was ~54.1 seconds. Ramsden wasn’t far off these splits for second, with Callum Davies also not too far off. World class finish boys….. Reproduced with permission from Athletics Australia….
