Aussies at the Pre Classic at the Eugene Diamond League included Matt Ramsden 13:17.11 posting a season’s best as did Brett Robinson 13:21.59 in the Men’s 5000m. Oli Hoare took second in the Bowerman Mile at the Pre Classic in 3:50.65 just behind Jakob Ingebrigsten and ahead of Timothy Cheriuyot.

Jessica Hull ran 3:59.31 in the 1500m, half a second from her national record while Union Athletic Club teammate Charlie Hunter set a personal best of 3:37 in the International 1500m.

Bendigo XC held in the St Anne’s Winery, Ravenswood was won by Andy Buchanan for Bendigo Region ahead of Andre Waring and Seth O’Donnell. Women’s race was won by Georgia Hansen and Melissa Duncan for Box Hill with Rachel McGuinness coming third for South Melbourne.

Keiran Perkins held off a tight contest to take line honours in the Runaway Noosa Half Marathon just ahead of Louis McAfee & Jarryd Clifford, while Lisa Weightman won the half ahead of Vanessa Wilson and Murphy Rankin. The full marathon was won by Wayne Spies and Leah Fitzgerald.

Aussies were in action in the NCAA Conference Finals featured Imogen Barrett & Carley Thomas in the 800m, Ed Trippas running in the 3000m steeplechase, Zach Facioni and Ky Robinson posting fast 5000m races to qualify for the NCAA final and Adam Spencer 1500m.
