In the Tokyo Marathon, Japan’s marathoners come of age showing some incredible depth running sub 2:09. Dickson Chumba takes it out in 2:05 while Wilson Kipsang disappears after 15km and the boys assess his options after another World Major DNF.

Ross then gives his frank assessment on the current state of athletics and what it needs to better to engage the public’s interest, as well as fielding questions about drug testing and looks to the future.
