Some of Australia’s best track and field talent will gather this Friday at Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre (QSAC) to put their finishing touches on their preparation ahead of Saturday’s Brisbane Track Classic.
The 2022 Chemist Warehouse Brisbane Track Classic is the premier one-day meet in Australian Track & Field, and is part of the World Athletics Continental Tour as a Silver Permit event.
The meet provides athletes with a key qualification opportunity ahead of the World Athletics Championships in Oregon this July and the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games in August, and as a Silver Permit meet, allows athletes to accumulate all-important world ranking points.
