Runner’s Tribe’s Ross caught up with the worlds most high profile and prolific distance runner, Meb Keflezighi. Meb is the Michael Jordan of marathoning. Meb is the only athlete in history to win the New York Marathon, the Boston Marathon and an Olympic Medal. A graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), his record also includes four NCAA championships, 22 National Championships and a place on four United States Olympic teams.

Genevieve LaCaze Video Interview: Aussie and Oceania 3000m steeplechase record holder

In the Paris Diamond League (August 27, 2016) Genevieve LaCaze broke the Australian and Oceania 3000m steeplechase record in 9:14:28.

With her 15th personal best of the season, LaCaze has smashed the outgoing record by four seconds, previously held by Donna MacFarlane (TAS) in 2008 with a 9:18:35.

See, who has been living in Greenville, South Carolina over the past four years as a member of the Furman Elite team, has decided to discontinue her American pro-athlete career.

See has reevaluated her future plans following a stress reaction earlier this year that ended her Rio Olympic campaign. After spending seven years in the US, the reigning 2015 and 2016 Australian 1500m champion and 2015 World Championship representative is looking forward to a fresh start.

Rio Olympian Morgan Mitchell Video Interview

In Rio, Morgan was part of the Aussie Women’s 4 x 400m Relay team which made the final and ended up finishing 8th overall. Morgan advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Women’s 400m individual but failed to make the final, leaving her hungry to succeed at the highest level in the future. Morgan is a massive talent and has the ability to make multiple Olympic finals and medal. For now though with the Rio journey over, it’s time to reflect, recoup, and have a chat with Runner’s Tribe’s Grace Kalac.

RT Interview with Zoe Buckman. Zoe was the first Australian female to make a world champs 1500m final. She accomplished this in Moscow 2013 after winning her semi-final. Zoe already has the 1500m Rio qualifier, which she achieved at the Prefontaine Classic 2015. Zoe trains with the Melbourne Track Club and is coached by Nic Bideau.
