The Workout Series The Threshold Run - By Mark Tucker Talking about and completing a ‘threshold run’ can bring a roll of the eyes to some runners who find it a chore. It’s far from glamorous, there are no breaks to look forward to (such as in an interval workout or...
2015 was a pretty good year, I've now started training with Philo Saunders' group and gained a lot of speed surprising myself a bit. It's great to have some good guys to train with and their sessions have really helped me develop. 1) Long Run 60-80mins No hard training session are...
Written by Jordan Gusman - Runner's Tribe I am coached by Dick Telford and train with the Team Telford crew in Canberra. Over the past three years, I have focused on consistency throughout my full week of training, rather than quality in a specific workout. Around six months ago, however,...
Running is such a tough individual sport and it is the runners around me who keep me motivated. I joined Gregor’s (Gregor Gojrzewski) training group at Essendon 6 years ago when I was 15. The head of sport at high school encouraged me to join an athletics club as...
For the last 3.5 years I have been training under middle distance coach, Ben Norton (Ontrack running) in Brisbane. During this time, I have mainly been training for 800m whilst also competing in a few 400m and 1500m. Our squad is a very close tightknit group, with most of us specialising in middle distance events. Check out of Instagram for regular post, run from our seniors! (@ontrackrun)

Hi, I’m Rhydian. Over the past decade, I’ve had the honour of putting on the Australian vest a number of times, usually in the 20km walk, including at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. As an athlete who predominantly focuses on the walks as...
Kiah Fry - My Story Age: 33 Blairgowrie, VIC Coach - Peter Schuwalow Squad - Zenith Running My first coach Robbie Morgan-Morris once said, “Just make sure you keep running and you will run for life.” So far he’s been pretty much on the mark, as they say, once a runner,...
