After finishing 5th in the world, Jenny Simspon (Barringer then) decided to stay at the University of Colorado for her final cross country season with the goal of winning her first NCAA Cross Country title. After showing dominance through the whole season, Simpson who was in an exciting battle with Florida State's Susan Kuijken, all of a sudden slowed down and eventually collapsed. People could not believe what they were seeing as Jenny managed to get up and finish the race. Not exactly how she envisioned her final collegiate race and here Jenny looks back at the experience.
