Alan Webb has had a tumultuous career to say the least. He's had a rocky comeback this past season, but showed glimpses of his old, 2007 form. Today, after petitioning to get into the 5000m race, he failed to get out of the semi-final heat. With a baby on the way, and feeling drained, Webb has decided to scratch out of the 1500m and begin reevaluating his career, and where he still fits in in American distance running.
