Clint Perrett had a dream year in 2009 recording personal best times across almost every distance. He also featured in all the major Australian road races including the worlds biggest fun run, Sydney's City 2 Surf in which he finished in 3rd place. The highlight of the year was his win at the Australian Cross Country Championships over the hilly Nowra Course. This assisted his selection into the 2010 team to contest the World Cross Country championships in Poland.

His debut at the half marathon distance of 64:25 was enough to seal his place in the World Half marathon championships to be held in China later this year. He is currently basing himself in Switzerland to ready himself for the challenge.
