Justin Merlino is already the second fastest Australian hurdler ever, and one of our most consistent athletes. He's a three time national champion, and is making steady progress. Merlino has the drive and determination to succeed at this technical event, and will be looking to make his mark at the World University Games, and potentially the IAAF World Championships...
At just 17, Cameron Page is one of the most promising juniors Australia has ever seen. With a 8:05 3000m to his name, and a few years remaining in the Under 20 age category, Cameron is a serious talent. Not only is he a talent, but he wins races, most recently taking out the 1500m/5000m double at the Australian Under 20 titles.

Pirrenee has snuck under the radar due to injury, but this 400m gun is not to be taken lightly. She's placed highly in some big meets, and has a lightning fast PB of 53.10. What's more, she's off to the IAAF World Championships in Berlin this year as part of the 4x400m team. Look out for great things from Pirrenee...

Brenton Rowe was the big improver over the 2008-2009 Australian domestic season. During this time Brenton dropped his 1500m PB from 3:50 to 3:42 and ran a sub-four mile in Christchurch. Brenton also managed to finish 4th in the 1500m at the Australian titles in March. With a more structured and consistent training regime it is hoped that this is just the start of bigger things to come for this rising star.
