Tristan Garrett – Euro Insight

So far it’s been 4 months but it will be 7 months by the time I leave my home here in Hamburg.

Base whilst in Europe?

Hamburg Germany and London

What races did you target and how did they go?

Targeted a BMC (British Milers Club) at Watford and a meet in Sollentuna, Sweden.  Unfortunately I got injured so I did not finish either races. 

Most enjoyable experience?

Would say this year watching the diamond leagues as I didn’t get to race.

What was the lowest point?

Being injured 

Lessons learnt during this European experience?

Do everything you can to stay injury free.  Keep to your routine and train smart.  There is no need to do anything differently that you wouldn’t do back in Australia.
